BRIEF DURATION VISA
Brief Duration Visas are issued for any emergency purposes in the oil & gas sector. Brief duration visas are issued for a period not exceeding ten days and must be used within three days after its issuance.
This visa is granted for 10 days ad renewable for another 10 days
It allows foreign nationals to go offshore
In practice, it is granted to companies in the oil and gas sector for emergency work
It requires a letter of invitation endorsed by the Ministry of Petroleum
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
The following quintessential documents must be submitted interalia with the application –
- Letter of invitation endorsed by the Ministry of Petroleum
- Flight itinerary
- Proof of accommodation
- Yellow fever certificate
