ACCOMPANYING SPOUSE OR CHILDREN

This visa category allows the holders thereof to lawfully accompany your spouse or parent while he/she is on a work assignment in Angola. Angola does not recognise life partners, and thus, this visa may only be obtained if you are married. This category may also be used for children who wish to accompany their parents. Marriage and birth certificates must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Angola diplomatic missions in their country of origin with certified translation into Portuguese. Police clearance certificates and medical certificates authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Angola diplomatic missions in their country of origin are also required to support accompanying spouse applications.
